Quite Scientific is an independent record label based just outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Founded in 2006 with the simple idea of releasing compilations of local artists, overnight it seems, QuiSci ( /kwī-sī/) evolved into the full fledged indie imprint that it is today (though we still haven't gotten around to putting out those comps). Though we have grown to include many artists from outside of the Michigan area, we still find ourselves focusing on the Midwest artists, aesthetic, and general good atmosphere that seems to permeate the air surrounding the Great Lakes; we have beards, wear plaid, and enjoy folks that doesn't take themselves too seriously.
